Peter Sloan
MSc, CPsychol, AFBPsS
Peter is a founder and director of Tariscent. Prior to this, he has held leadership roles and client accountabilities in several consulting organisations, most recently in Deloitte.
He is a chartered psychologist with over 25 years’ experience consulting to some of the world’s largest and most complex organisations and supporting them through transformation. He has been involved in creating and managing leadership and people development programmes, performance management processes and large-scale assessment programmes to drive talent management and executive succession.
A trusted advisor and coach to boards, HR Directors and a range of C-Suite clients, Peter has a particular interest in leadership assessment and coaching and the ways in which applying psychology to the field of leadership can enable successful transformation and deliver business strategy. He has been assessing and coaching senior leaders for over 25 years and in that time has carried out more than 1000 in-depth assessments, working across industry sectors and geographies. Much of his current work focuses on the shifting demands of leaders and leadership teams in a Future of Work/Industry 4.0 context, and on helping leaders and organisations to develop the capabilities, adaptability and culture they need to be ready for the future.
Peter has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Glasgow and an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Nottingham. He is a Chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Member of the Division of Coaching Psychology and an ICF-accredited coach.
