Maria Lucio

Maria is a seasoned leadership specialist with two decades of expertise in occupational psychology. She has dedicated her career to crafting and executing impactful leadership assessment and development programmes across diverse industries such as professional services, pharmaceuticals, banking, and the public sector.  

Known for her dynamic and engaging style, Maria infuses a sense of enjoyment into her development programmes and employs a blended learning approach to enhance capabilities. Additionally, she served as a vital member of Deloitte UK’s Centre of Excellence for Leadership, where she trained consultants globally to deliver top-tier assessment and development programmes for senior leaders; during this time she developed deeper ties with Latin America where she helped them to build their leadership practice.

She has worked across multiple continents, including Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, providing her with a robust appreciation of how to operate across diverse cultural contexts. She is also a fluent Spanish speaker and actively champions diversity at the leadership level, including running diversity workshops for the CIPD.  She is Chartered with two accrediting bodies, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) and the British Psychological Society (BPS). In addition, she is a Fellow of the BPS and a member of the Special Group in Coaching.
